This morning someone stopped by and wanted to buy a sun visor off a 49 Chrysler I have in the driveway. Hadn't thought of selling it but might as well if someone needs it. What would be a fair price or what do they usually go for?
Ten years ago I paid $150 for a '46 Poncho torpedo ... figured the visor would be worth that . A guy bought the whole car from me for $500 a month later ..... so I guess the answer would be, "Whatever they are willing to pay."
Someone might 'need' to quick turn-around and sell it. Start at 250, he's thing 100, bring down to 200, be happy, but don't give it away.
If it's a rare visor it's gotta be worth the $250,he may have a part u need and u can trade or negotiate. Gaz!
Usually around $150-$250 http://www.ebay.com/itm/CHEVY-FORD-...=&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
Around here visors go for $150-300 depending on how pretty they are as in stainless/chrome trim, etc.
I just got one for 290 with no brakets is really straight tho. and I got a original fulton visor for 200.
I probably shouldn't have cut the ugly one I took off a 50 Chev sedan and made patch panels for my T bucket in the 60's then but it wasn't cool to have then.
That's not a Fulton, in the center stainless strip, does it have a name stamped in? "Peckat" would be my guess, or it might say that on the sides. Peckat visors have a following in the lowrider world, I got close to $400 for the last one I had. Not sure on condition of the one you have there or the brand name, but they differ. Crappy, random ones sell for $50 but some of the best ones go for $500+, you really need more info to nail down a price on that one.
