What YOU, the seller, and the BUYER agree to. THAT is what it's worth. These WIW? posts continue, and the answer is the SAME every single time, folks! Run a damn Cl***ified ad for it WITH a price,m because YOU KNOW what YOU want for it. If it sells, you priced it right. It is does not, it's too damn high! This is too farkin' easy!
Can't give an accurate answer until Monday morning and check the s**** prices. In this economy anything above s**** take the money and run. When you have a car that needs quarters you can be ***ured there is a whole lot more to do once you dig into it. Sorry to disappoint but your going to get a better answer somewhere else. Frank
chevyshack is about right, i would ask about 2100.00 and take 1700.00. i have had 5 impalas in the last 2 years, i had a 66 supersport that ran and was complete but the frame and underbody was pretty rusty and i got 1500.00 for it. if the car was an ss you could get about 4000.00 in that condition. its not that bad, ive seen alot worse for alot more, but like i said a non ss like that is about 1700.00. dont worry it will sell.
List it for sale or trade, you might luck into a truck you want... but I guarantee you will get lots of calls from people with '90's Taurus's, '90's Toyota's with electrical problems, the odd '70's lux-o barge, and other ***orted ****... if you really want to meet new and interesting breeds of humanlike freaks, list it on C-list in the "barter" section. Looking at the car from my monitor it looks like a $1500 at best.
I'd probably pay $2K for that one, since it runs and drives. The rusty quarters don't scare me that much, and it is a 2 door hardtop after all. It is a pretty tough market, but cheap stuff sells OK if you know how to advertise.
