I am NOT a Model A guy ... but I do have friends with Model A's and the price seems about a thousand or more too high.

In my area, For 5 grand or so ... you should be able to buy a decent Model A coupe complete but needing restoration.
ALWAYS buy the best body you can afford
... and You will save money by cutting out the bodyman. :D

My neighbor has $349,000 in his house but it isn't worth that any more due to the economy, If he sells it he might be lucky to get $310,000, that's life!
If the guy has $2500 into a body worth $1800, well that's life too!
It will probably sit in that corner for a long time.:(

Yep, Just the bead area on the driver side looks '30-'31. The rest of the quarters is '28-'29 .it's a mess all over. You can do better for less money. Just for reference, four years ago, I paid $500 for a '30 coupe body that was as good as that one is,just because I needed a title for one of my good coupe bodies. I kept the title and sold the body for $700 three days later. That's all it was worth .

I don't think it's a 30-31 rear, I think someone filled that in on the quarter.

Pass on it or be prepared to spend more than it's worth making repairs.

I would say that 2,500 is a little much for that. I bought one this summer for 1,200 but it was in pieces. As for the belt line it would take alot of work to fix that.

You'd be better off spending money to travel enough to get a better body or even a more complete project.
