One hour every morning before I leave for work, 2-3 hrs on Tuesday evenings, and 4-5 hrs on Sats that I don't have to work.
    So 11-13 hours a week.

At least four hours a day although sometimes I just stare and drink beer..........

  5. Now that the kids will be going back to school and the house projects are done, hopefully I can get back to 3-4 hours a day. I work second shift so everyone is gone most of the time, so I can get it done if I get back to it.

  7. Not enough. I probably spend more time on the HAMB than in my garage. That's my New Year's resolution. Spend more time in the garage. I think I might just cancel my internet and only use it at my wifes coffee shop every now and then so I'm not tempted to spend so much time on my damn computer when I'm at home.

I switched to 4 10 hour shifts at work, so I could be at my project all day every Monday. I'm making good progress now. I do a little work on evernings at weekends too.

Saturdays, Sundays, evenings, some days...no Missus, don't watch TV, don't drink...it's just me and my hot rods/kustoms...and I wouldn't trade it for anything...

Poll probably should have differentiated between those that earn their living in a garage and those that don't. I am sure there are a number on here who get less than 8.

Im in there late at night when the family's asleep, or real early in the morning when not to much is going on. The hot rod stuff takes a back burner to just about everything else i got going on. Cant be as ******** as i used to be.

Hardly any and it's killin' me. Due for a full shoulder replacement in two weeks... I can barely swing a hammer anymore.

But, after THAT, I gurantee I'll be back out there as much as possible.

Not nearly enough! I'm like one of the other posters in that I probably spend more time on HAMB than in the garage! I just need to get off my **** and get motivated!

Like the others have stated...not enough. No heat...dang insurance co. Keeps the beer cold, though.

ten degrees doesn't qualify as warm enough either, lol.

When I am at home, 6 to 10 hours on Saturday, an hour or two or four on the evenings and any other time I can steal away from the mundane.

Work and family time really mess with my shop time.... :)

Average might be 10 or 12....

The ***** of it is that my work is seasonal, regular 40 hous or so in the cold months, and all consuming in the summer. While I have time in the winter the cold ****s and I have a hard time getting going untill the day warms up a little, about noon....

I refuse to work inside when welding..... scares me a little too much...

I get my cars done an hour at a time. Sometimes I get out there 20 times in a week. Just keep me away from the beer :)

I spend almost 100 hours a week in the shop. But then again- I run a business doing this stuff and actually get paid for what I know and what I do....:D
