How much whould you pay for this?

    thirty five hundred around here, would be about right. i'd grab it up for 2, if u can.

    Some comps for you:

    Two years ago I sold my dad's '51 3100 parts truck for $2,000. Straight with minimal rust but poor paint; 6 cyl ran OK, but no title, no interior and a few missing parts. (It's the white one pictured below.)

    Last year I sold dad's driver '51 3100 for $5,500. 6 cyl running gear and brakes were first rate, newer tires, cheapie resell-red paint job and crummy interior.

    Here's the kicker: Three years ago I found a stalled project where the owner just wanted OUT. '51 3100 with shiny fresh paint, good running 327, 9-inch rear, front discs and tilt column. All the heavy lifting done and just needed finishing up. $3,000. (OK, those deals are hard to find, but they're out there.)

    As to the truck in the original post, in my opinion $1,500 is great, $2,000 is fair, $2,500 is OK.
