Hot Rods How much would it cost, V8-60?

This came up in an auction this weekend. It is a v8-60 completely dressed in Eddie Meyer speed gear.
How much would it cost for me to get one looking like this?

 

I left before they auctioned it off. I also talked with a friend who was at the last auction for this guys stuff, he said "there was 2 of them at the last auction and they both went NO bid"

Holy shit, I wish I was there last year

 

I'd guess a couple 3 grand?

 

Man, I want that thing! Did it sell?
Not sure about the price on V8 60 stuff, but tracking down the parts will difficult.

Yeah, I wanted to take it home in the worst waybut I knew the $0.25 in my pocket wasn't gonna get it done. So I left before it hit the gavel, no sence in torturing myself.

 

When we were building 60's in the late 80's for our midgets, it took at least $3500 do do one like that. I'm sure it hasn't got any cheaper.

 

Just got the word that $1700 took this one home.

 

Well it sounds like no one bought it...they stole it.
