I guess the best part is that this thing is off the road and in the hands of a very capable team to help it. Have fun boys! And take more pictures...
What the...??? It's been said before on other threads, but this kind of thing makes me thankful for the licensing system we have down here in Australia and NZ. Regulations that can sometimes seem like your worst enemy when trying to get your car on the road, are there for a reason. I can only imagine what this thing would have looked like after being down some of our "off-beat" roads.
Yeah, but skulls are COOL!!! I see you haven't looked under that paint yet... I have a feeling your problems are just beginning. Ted, can you or Geoff post some pics of THAT project yet?
I'm not that ^^^ guy! That's why I'm afraid to pull the trigger and buy a Model A pickup I found online! I'm in Colorado and it's in California. Kinda hard to make a trip out there to take a look at the truck and it not be worth buying. And trying to find someone that you can trust to make an educated opinion isn't easy, especially when you don't like asking people to do favors for you.
I was hoping to get into an affordable (cheap) rod project by buying something unfinished from the HAMB classifieds or ebay. After this thread, and a couple cars I checked out in person it's starting to look like maybe that ain't such a bonus idea.
I do muffler work for a living and I see that kind of crap all the time. Death traps on public highways.
Chevy going to sit as low as the pic when the S-10 frame transplant is complete? Love that fastback style body!
