anybody know a way to find out the date of production on bias plys? they look newer but i dont want to roll to far on them if they're a million years old...
Last 3 digits are the date of manufacture: 123 is the 12th week of a year ending in 3... of course, that won't tell you the decade. Not sure how far back this DOT-required coding goes, tho, bet not past the late '60s at best, if that.
Any thing this decade would usually be 03, 04, etc. and anything in the 90's usually has a triangle after the #'s. Any older, I don't believe there is a way to tell. If you have the tire make and model, someone might know when they were produced.
