how old are my bias ply's???

    anybody know a way to find out the date of production on bias plys? they look newer but i dont want to roll to far on them if they're a million years old...

    Last 3 digits are the date of manufacture: 123 is the 12th week of a year ending in 3... of course, that won't tell you the decade. Not sure how far back this DOT-required coding goes, tho, bet not past the late '60s at best, if that.

    if there more then a week old they need to be replaced .

    Any thing this decade would usually be 03, 04, etc. and anything in the 90's usually has a triangle after the #'s. Any older, I don't believe there is a way to tell. If you have the tire make and model, someone might know when they were produced.
