78, with birthday next week. Still work in shop but slowing down What used to take 15 minutes now takes an hour.
Finishing up a 54 Chevy pickup. Have a 32 Ford roadster to build if I hold up.

 

I started counting backwards after 50, so I'm 44.

.10 votes in the 81-90 group, good on you guys. I am in the next lower group but tell everyone I'm the oldest teenager in my town, still a Rebel.

 

I'm 40, and trying to play catch up!

 

There is a bright note, the census is off on the 40 to 50 years old . They just are not on the hamb or have left, most the guys in this age group are on facebook or instagram. Most my car friends on facebook are in this age group , but the worry is they are very few in their twentys.

 

Seems we have a bunch of Spring bloomers on the forum.... Lots of folks born in April....
I'll be 60 on the 8th... Hope I make it...

 

I just hope I make it through tonight.

Nope, not for me....

 

Another old friend a year younger than me passed yesterday. He used to Race Fords At George Rays a few decades ago. had a 428 ford convert. When we where teens in the 1960,s he had a 57 chevy 2 dr sedan and a ford PK. It seems like yesterday we where hauling fill dirt with tri axle dunp trucks. Mine had a cummins and thirteen speed. His had a Cat engine and a double 8 trans. He could work those two shift levers.

 

I hit 73 in Dec. been playing with cars for 60 years. Still have most of 'em.

 

I will be 69 in 2020! I graduated high school in 69! Was bit by the hot rod bug at an earlier age,say around ten! By 14 I was figuring gear ratios for full grown men that raced cars on the circle tracks,at Thunderbird Speedway, when I should have been doing my math! Read everything I could get my hands on at the time!
Still playing with cars, at last count, I had about 75 vehicles.
Have lost a lot of buddies in my years, miss them every day! But I still have some good friends and make new ones , occasionally! So the future looks bright!
