I really commend you folks, who can build more than one project at a time. My T Bucket build takes up all my free time and it's as basic as it can get. Gawd help me if I had to keep an eye out for stuff for another build. I'd go bat crazy. So, you multiple project guys.... so your stuff!

Here's basically where I'm at now. Just finished running brake lines (not in this pic). Maybe my addiction isn't as bad as I thought. Hmmm....... do I need a new dealer?o_O

I had an off topic kit car going at the same time I was building my 47 Ford coupe. What a mistake that was! I really didn't get much done on either until I parted company with one of them. Then the other got all the attention and I was better off for it. Allowed me to get focused and do a better job on the one that remained.

If I'm actually building one, I don't get anything done on anything else (except maybe for buying a few parts that I'll use "some day").

I try not to have too many projects sitting around, I've had a few of them take up space inside for way too long. No more.

One at a time for me. The frame is looking good, Fred.

I have three in the shop right now along with my Triumph 750CC Bonneville. I seem to be able to work on all four at the same time but I will admit if I had only one in progress it would be a lot closer to completion. Then there is that day job that pays the bills (that constantly gets in the way) so I can indulge myself in these projects. I really like the diversity in projects. I am going to retire in three years an hopefully I can devote at least 60% of my time to the the shop work.

Oh, what I'd do if I only had one project right now!
Thanks to a series of events (letting help go, step son leaving for a government job (better bennies then I have;)) and me not wanting to hire/ train new help I now have 6 projects going by myself but I am full time. Yes, it drives me crazy. I was working a few days here on one, few days there on a different one and that wasn't working. Finally told the customers I would concentrate on the one closest to done, get it out then the next closest. If they didn't want to wait they could move on, so far nobody has. So far better, shipped off 2 of them since the first of the year (had 8 projects), got 2 more about out of here. Once it clears out I'll move to smaller shop and one, maybe two at a time, never again will I get this buried.

  7. I have four cars and all of them are road worthy but they stress me out trying to maintain them. It seems I always have some thing to tinker with. No I did not build them but I made them mine and up graded a ton of things. I can't imagine trying to build two or more at the same time. My hat is off to ya.

  8. More than one project at a time is more like a job than having fun with cars. Ok, ok...I have my HAMB friendly 34 ford but I also have a running, driving chevy G-body wagon. It requires little upkeep [so far] and it gives me something "interesting" to drive 'till my coupe is done.
As far as more than one full-on projects? I sold all of them to spend time with my coupe.
