Just last week,there was a thread on here about a member doing the same thing you are doing. His car was a '33 Ford coupe. He traced it back to the man who the car was stolen from in 1999, and the police took the car and gave it back to the victim. He was very fortunate,because that fella was kind enough to give him the $$$ that he had paid for the car. He certainly didn't have to do that. After reading that, I think I'd just leave those stones unturned.
