I know I am not the only one that has tackled this problem. I have a 1930 Ford Coupe body that is in decent shape except for the lower cowl braces that attach to the firewall and where the body attaches to the frame. I have attached photos showing the damage. How do you fix this? I have searched for the parts and can't find where anyone makes them except for the open cars. I am ready to put the body on the new chassis to make all the fitting adjustment and this is what is holding me up.

Your best bet would be to find someone local with an A to measure off of. You will then need to just bend up some raw steel to patch in. Fairly simple if you have an example to look at.
