how to get a bonded title (in AZ at least)

Hey gassersteve, I dont understand the Bond deal too well. When they told you that you needed a bond for the amount of $12,450 and you only paid $187. How does that work?

Just some info from NM.

I have a vehicle in NM that needed a title as well. about 5 years ago I had a private inspector inspect the vin, he gave me a document and all I had to do was take it to a title company and they would search the databases for any stolen cars and background of the vehicle. Within 2 months they called me and had a title for me. Here in AZ the process just seems daunting.

 

A bond is an insurance policy. You pay so much per thousand.
Since so few bonds have to be paid, the insurance company can charge you just a small amount of the face value.

 

What happens if the person has moved and dose not sign for the return evelope?
