Did a little tinkering last night.
First my headers came in the mail so I mounted them up to check clearances and they fit perfect. Couldn't be happier
    ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1426006763.272848.jpg

Then I ran into a little problem with shifter location and the sub rail cross bar
    ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1426006825.288339.jpg

So I went ahead and fixed that right up
    ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1426007218.929220.jpg
And then trimmed the top of the door shells to fit the new roadster stanchions

    More to come soon

Any progress is good! How longs is it till crunch time?

I like it, although the motor sits so low, is that in purpose, or are you leaving room for a 6-71 under the hood?

Just found your cousin's thread then yours. Wish I had soon. Good luck to both of you, seems you can'take really lose regardless of the outcome.

I thought you guys were biting off more than you could chew, but I was rooting for both of you to prove me wrong.
I can't wait to see how it turns out. Keep up the good work.

We tried our best and got so close. Pulled a couple all nighters on my cousins car but finally Friday morning, after being up working on the car for about 35 hours straight, decided to crack a couple cold ones. Call it a truce and head down to the round up in the old faithful Tudor. But keep watching! The buildoff is not over yet! New deadline set for the new bayou roundup down in Lafayette!!

Pinkynoegg'a tudor. He picked up a while back. We may have been spotted in it at the Austin speed shop party and at roundup ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1429454960.192553.jpg

That is one nice rod, but one picture is just teasing!

And about the ASSs party, I'm more the 3000 miles away, one paycheck above half-ass broken and trying to cut down on my drinking.
So coming to there party's is a fare-out in the future project, and the first place I want to go, if I get the cash, is Colorado Hill climb. Or maybe TROG.
    No hard feelings.
So it very doubtful that I get to see that car, at there party in the future [emoji4][emoji52][emoji17]

So pics would make me happy! [emoji41]

Got the steering all finished up. Went to put my pedals in and realized the k member wouldn't work. Went ahead and fabbed up a new one and redid the trans mount while I was at it.
