Technical How to mount a Model A hood and sides

I have a 30 Model A that has been channeled 4" and I want to put the Hood and sides on the car now.

But since the car has been channeled how can the sides me mounted to look as if they have not been altered?

I'm sure this has been done over the years does anyone have any pictures on how this will look.

The sides would normally sit on the fender/frame rail. Now, with the body channeled, the hood sides will need to be trimmed/cut where they p*** through the "plane" of the frame rail. Should be plenty of pics. Search a Model A thread and have a look. Tim
