No need to close your account. It sounds like you are getting alerts, which will drive you f'ing bananas. Go to your profile page, go to alert preferences and unclick all the alerts. Hopefully, someone smarter than me will come along and do a screen shot of what you need to do which will make it much easier to understand. Stick around, you will dig it, I swear. -Abone.
Yep did that couple days ago went into Profile & My account, Privacy settings, Preferences, Alert preferences and un checked everything I could find. Did no good, got over 75 today. Anyone out there can tell me if I am missing something?
What kind of updates are you receiving? I only get an email if i have a new private message but I can turn that off if i want. You can go under the circled tab and go through each one of them to turn off email options.
Are these emails identified as Hamb specific? Like @Lloyd's paint & glass, I only get Hamb emails when PM'd...I have got just a few from the Boss Alliance related and there was a time I got a few emails related to Hotrod Businesses possibly Hamb Vendor related but Ryan was aware of those 1-2 years ago and those were also not very common and really have all but disappeared... One thing you must understand is Ryan has alot of expertise in this field and works very hard to get this place 'Spot On' so I hope you get this under control even if it turns out to be non Hamb related... Do you have Virus protection? Perhaps you have been hacked and may have bigger issues than you realize... I sure hope you let us know what this was attributed to when the cause is found...
