My friend's truck won't start and we want to check the plugs, but it has sand and dirt covering the plug holes to the point that a socket cant grab them....

the truck location has no access to air compressor as that would be the only way to blow it out,

if i pour anything like PB blaster, would that work, or just make a mess.

Leave the plugs in and squirt them with your garden hose.

Cover your carb, too. sounds obvious, but....

OR, go to a computer store and get a couple cans of compressed air used for electronics...easy and cheap.

Long extension cord and a shop vac.
If that doesn't do it, a hand-held wisk broom, or some other small bristly device. Scrub a bunch, and it should all come out.

Tooth brush, screw driver and a short lenth of hose to blow through ought to do it, hell its not like you are moving huge chunks of stuff.
