I bought a car with some pin striping that I don’t really care for. So I took it off with some Easy Off and lacquer thinner. But now There’s tan lines. I’d imagine you would polish and buff it out here but my paint is flat. Can I polish flat paint without it turning weird?

Maybe sand with a fine paper and blend things in? Bump for you anyways;)

Polished flat paint will probably turn semi shiny. Can you mist it with some rattle can flat to blend it in?

If it's flat paint and you buff it it will go back to flat eventually.

Stop messing around, finish it right, make it look good with shiny. EZer to keep up with also, plus your cool car is protected far better.
It's a opportunity to step up.
I pinstriped a lot of cars in the late 1950s an into the 1960's as "The Bat",never a primer car . If asked I'd say, bring it back after it's painted. No one I knew though of primer as a finish, back then, nether did any other strippers I knew...

Flat paint is the new cheap out, look like shit, way to go. It hides bad bodywork and gives that never finished look. Shiny paint is the way to go.
