How to remove stainless around windshield on 1949 chevy delivery

    Can someone give me some info on how to remove the stainless around the windshield on a 1949 chevy delivery to replace the windshield. If i remember correct i beleive it has studs with nuts going thru, i can remember how many and location.

    if it is like my olds and i am sure it is , the rubber has a channel in it and the trim has a hook like affair and sets deep in to the rubber. take a razor knife and cut the excess seal from around the windshield and then u can work the trim out and then cut the rest of the seal until u can pull the glass out. the only studs are in the divider trim

    The piece that goes across the bottom has several studs sticking through the cowl with nuts up behind the dash. The stainless around the sides and top is embeded in the rubber and has to go in and out with the windshield

    ...also 2 screws in the door jambs.
