I have a 1946 International truck with a cracked driver's side window gl***. I know, that is part of being a old truck but I would like to change it anyhow. I have seen on U-Tube where this guy changes one on a 1947. He shows that the lower channel has detent holes that you go to and the channel comes right out. Well the '46 doesn't have that option. So, I need some suggestions on how to get this gl*** out. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Roll the window up about 3/4 . use 2 inch tape on to the gl*** on both sides over the top of the door frame to keep the window up while you remove the winder mechanism then with all the screws out of the winder , slide it back and forth to remove the arms from the channel , window will be free to remove from the door . reverse process to install
