how to replace rocker panels

    hi everyone
    im in big trouble i have a 1955 ford 4door sedan i just sand blasted the whole body.now my rocker panels need replacing anmd i have never done anything like that. can any one tell me where i can get some info on the net or anywhere. my back splash pan needs replacing also

    someone please help

    Hey,

    If the rockers are toast, how is the kick up section of the floors? Also take a good ,honest look at the frame with close attention to the front cross member.
    Rockers are not that tough to replace providing your welding is up to the game, and you have some time on your hands. Look for a parts source for repops or a parts car with dry rockers, call Owens Salvage inTexass for dry ones for a 4dr.
    If you can post pictures, we'll walk ya through it. I think with coaching, my wife could do this.

    here try these rockers for 2dr but i think you could use 4 of them to fixer up

    rear tailpan we got that 2 call kim 216-541-4585

    pretty easy to remove with a air chisel. be prepared to work them a little if they are reproduction ones. take your time getting them in place before you tack them in. good luck.
