You can't reply to any ad that isn't your own. You send the other person a "start a conversation " to communicate.
I have done all the right moves to answer an ad. Started a conversation, etc. The seller evidently never ck's to see if anyone has ever PM'd him. It's very frustrating. The only thing I can figure out is that there is no other way to reach him. He doesn't list an email address or a ph.#. I guess we are both SOL, he can't sell & I can't buy. How about HAMB notifying the seller ?? If that is a possibility PM me and I will give you his name.
Did you click on the guys name ? If you did it brought up a menu list. One item being "Start a conversation" If you clicked on it, it brought up the place to type your conversation, then at the bottom is a blue box that says "start a conversation" Not sure what you meant by print it - I'm going to assume print means type it.
When I click on a "name" under classified, it takes me to their page. Unfortunately the new format does not allow you to see their posts as before? Even if you "search" the sellers name... It does not allow to see their posts? Help Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
It appears that several readers (like me), after having written their message, are confused over how it should be posted due to the lack of a "send" button or its equivalent. I have seen no response to extricate them from their quandary.
I found a member whom was trying to contact me about a wanted ad on my mobile app..iphone ...went to my main computer and could not find the gent..dude must be in cyberspace...

Are you trying to reply to the ad? If so, you cannot reply to a sellers ad. Send the poster a private conversation. You cannot use the App with the classifieds. Either use the browser on your phone or use a personal computer.

Yeah it changed. Doesn't matter how long you've been a member, you have to contribute to the forum now to access the conversation feature.
Yes, but it must be done privately. I left the I phone in the other room while I was chuckling over the Hail Marys, flathead firing order and Dyno-mite posts.
I'm trying to respond to an ad but when I select the Sellers profile the popup window does not have the option to "start a conversation". I have done this before with success as I have previous conversations recorded on my profile with other sellers.
You do not have enough posts. Ryan made a change to prevent scammers so now 10 posts are required before you can PM a member. Please don’t start by simply posting numbers as some have done?!. Then, and only then, will you be able to 'start a conversation' in reply to a classified advertisement. Have a great day.
