Now that the mainstream world knows what a "Hot Rod" is, this is what they think they look like. Add all the overdone crap you can so everyone looks. Sad thing is, the average joe thinks it's cool. It looks like something made for a bad Hollywood Hot Rod movie.
This is why I have never sold the 40 coupe I have had for 20+ years, I'm afraid I would cry if a new owner puked on it like this.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw that photo.
I was also thinking how glad i am that I was never a heavy drinker, as i have seen many a bad tattoo like that on people who were to drunk to know what they were getting.
