Technical How to set timing without harmonic balancer?

Blues4U- thanks for that info. Im pretty sure its the original Rochester 2 Barrel. I will absolutely follow these steps. This is going to be a long term project, and something that will stay in the family so I would like to know this truck like the back of my hand. Thats something I havnt had the time to do with my other cl***ics, and Im really looking forward to spending the time learning as much as possible. I'll take pics and repost here when I figure it out.
