It was alot of work but hangin with these guys and working on each others cars is ALWAYS a great ball-bustin time. Just as much credit should go to Justin for the 2-hour drive he did Saturday and Sunday. Not alot of people would do that.

You are absolutely right. Pretty cool how amazingly patient these guys are with a guy who loved old cars but knew nothing about working on them. I am always disappointed to hear how some folks have a bad experience with the club thing-I have had just the opposite. We are small, but it is about being friends first...the club is just a bonus (cool t-shirts, you know) haha.

You guys do realize that the time-line of these shows is a fiction, right?

I work in "reality" television. No time-line is real. There is a much larger work crew than what is show on-screen. Most of the on-screen talent only works on the project about the exact amount that they are seen on screen in the final edit, and sometimes not at all. Everyone is in on the secret.

For someone to pull off this sort of thing for real, on a short time line is truly an admirable achievement. You guys rock!

you guys know how to pay it forward big time. If we all behaved that way this world would be a much better place. Inspirational!

  11. My first thought also, I'm sure he'd like some of the kids he works with to read this.

Very nice thing to do for someone who gives to others!!

Don't worry we cuss like sailors around him all the time
He just throws holy water on us and shouts "The power of Christ compels you!"
We were more than happy to help him out.

  13. That's an awesome story to share.
Its good to see there are still good folks in the world.

  19. What good karma this story is! Jim is a real unselfish hero that is willing to give up his time to help develop todays restless youth. So when brothers recognize and reward this unselfish behavior it is the coolest. I am proud of all of you for having your hearts and heads in such a good place. BRAVO, the car looks great, and he will be pleased to tell folks how his bros helped him out. The circle was unbroken! ~Sololobo~
