Got to 94 by myself. Couldn't think of the model names for (9) Meteor or (39) Pontiac, and it never occurred to me to try Japanese makes.

    That was FUN!

Nope, actually Meteor was it's own separate make in Canada, so the make is indeed Meteor, and the model is a Rideau. Mercury in the US did make a model called Meteor but this is not one of them. That one caught me up real bad too, but it is correct.

Yeah, that test was way fun, I could do one of those with 1000 answers, I'd be better at it if it only had American cars, but the hard ones make it more fun. Thanks for posting the link.

  9. You are CORRECT SUH! The other models it could have been are the Montcalm ( which I tried first) or the Niagara. The other separate line was the Monarch. Early Meteors use to be Ford bodied and Monarchs were Mercury bodied. After '63 they became Mercury bodied Meteors. Ironically the last Meteors in the early 80's were built in St. Louis.
NOW WHAT MODEL IS #11!! I've tried every dam combo of 88 98 delta 88 Holiday ninety eight eight eight even starfire what did I miss??? and the '55 Olds model stumped me too # 32. Stu

I posted a pic of one on page two. I believe the picture is of the side trim dip on a '56 model. They're from Canada, basically Canada's Ford models, fancied up Fords with Mercury engines. I think I like Meteors better than the Fords that they parallel

Virgil, both number 11 and 32 are Oldsmobile 88

I got to 98/100 BEFORE looking at the posts on here and NOT surfing around for the answers. The AMC Javelin threw me for a loop. The only one that got me was the Meteor, and I NEVER would have got it after reading the responses on here...I knew nothing about them. I got the Acura after trying "probe" "fiero" "Firebird" "mazda", then I noticed the side marker light and hit "Acura"...the next logical choice was NSX, cause I don't know any of the other models. I'm ashamed to admit I know that much.

Nice way to kill an hour of you life though! It was fun. I knew more than I should know, LOL!
