**** by the time I went out in the yard this had been answered. the 57 inch job is the holy grail of 9 inchers. I bought 2 61 inch units today.

  7. Approx 52 1/4 inches inside the housing flanges, add another 5 inches for the axles and voila! There is one outside sitting on my car trailer.....

I put 2 hundred dollars for the pair so fast on the guy you would not belive it. these were complete units with all the brakes and the small yolk. one had 3.7 gear and the other 3.2. I would go more for the 57 unit. impossible to find in this area. all got hauled for s**** I guess... Bobby..

Have one in my 34 coupe. Fits perfectly and is plenty strong for most any motor you choose.

  11. Ya beat me to it. I believe they are
the narrowest for production ford cars. A direct bolt in
for early ('62-'67) Nova's/Chevy IIs that already suffer
from small rear wheelwells. One inch narrower that
    '67-69 camaro rears.
