    Hey, I've never heard of "J" bolts - fill me in - got pictures? Where do you get them now days?
     
  3. I can take measurements of things like the door. the size has never changed. so ill measure the door and with those measurements make a ruler to the scale of the picture. I have my doubts about a 6" drop in the back.

    My custom 54 Merc built in 62 had dropped spindles and lowering blocks. It rode OK but sat very low. Once I was on a trip to north Carolina's outter banks and took it on a ferry boat ride, we got back and the tide was out and we had to use pry bars to get it unloaded.
