Frame Zeed rear & 6" dropped axle front, + bigs & littles would have been one way. But from what I can tell from the pic, this one appears to have a deep channel. (Note bottom door hinge right at frame level).
Ditto, especially IVO unchopped roof. Lowering the body over the frame that much doesn't leave much room to sit, either! Gary
Why is it I can't remember to get milk on the way home from work. But as soon as I saw this picture. I remember seeing it on one of my uncles book when I was a kid.
Bags I guess, cuz not drivible other wise I think. I never liked that one that way,to me it looked like the springs failed and was no longer drivible, witch is the case when that low. Giving it up in the back about 4 or 5in. and up in front would looked real good to me,cuz I do like the body a lot! Bags were not yet really used in 60 and I still don't like bags ether.
If you were to see the door open, you would see the severe channel.... a very popular way to build cars. But...we didn't have speed bumps back then too.
If it was sectioned, it was a very small section. Wheel wells raised. Running boards mounted to the bottom of the body, and a very small custom piece to tie the body to the front fenders. Wish the pic was larger. But I really don't think it was sectioned.
Bags. They have been in the hot rod world since 1957. My A has bags. PM me if you want to know how, so the oldsters don't run out Doane's Pills, and Muscilex.
