Altered or maybe sand rail? Some better pictures of the various pick up points might lead to a better answer.

Not ready for competition. Just being stupid, sorry.

Meant for those who asked for a daily post. Stepdaughter, Lori is in the house & as the old town crier would say from his position atop the tallest building in in the village, "all is well"

I’m thinking straight front axle, motor plate instead of mounts, short wheelbase, probably an Altered as in:

A starting point for whatever you want to call it?
Probably not legal to run most places.

Yep. I saw that. The tabs on top of the forward hoop supports are curious. Seems like it's some ones unfinished project that was abandoned.

    O' Come on man!

Who wouldn't want to strap a straight axle with spindle mount skinnies on the front, a blown nitro Hemi with weed burner headers, a scatter shield, a 4 speed, and an 8 3/4 Mopar or 9" Ford right in front of your nuts, with your legs draped above that rear axle, and blast down the quarter at over 200 mph in that wonderful chassis? Splash a little paint on the chassis, throw on a tin (or a fiberglass) body shell, and hook up the parachute to stop it, and lets go for a ride! A real man could hold the body on with one hand while doing it. :D

I'll drive the push truck so you can have that experience, and I will be cheering you on. Hey, someone has to drag the car back to the pits for the next round...:D

If he wasn't down at Cheaters right now with a flash light looking for skirts, that would have never happened!:D

  25. The welds don't seem to have much penetration. Scary.

  26. Find a Topolino body and Anglia/Prefect front axle as a starting point.

The cage would need some work, maybe some added bars mid frame also, but other than that it doesn’t look really that bad. A T or Bantam glass body, a mild small block and some narrow slicks, you wouldn’t want it to grab all at once, you’d want it to spin off the line then grab after it was rolling. Too much traction and it’d be a wheel stander!

  28. Possibly an early altered or a dune/sand rail. HRP
