I planned on going but there was a mail hauling trip that popped up at the last minute. As it turned out I didn't do the trip anyway. Anybody score any good stuff ?
i couldn't make it, but a couple friends went and told me it was very poor...very little stuff there and not a lot of people. i have to give it to them for trying , but it seams it wasn't well advertised...the only place i heard about it was here on the HAMB, nothing in the MSRA Linechaser or in the local papers. maybe next year's will be better if they get the word out early
Picked up a set of five spokes and some trifive stuff for my gasser , a couple hambr's were sellin with only 6-7 swappers,BUT Anoka was the same day, so it was a poor turn out anyway, went to Anoka , but that was lame ,over priced as usual with the usual junk dealers, but NO tool guys , figures the one time I need some thing,
I got some stuff for my wife's car , did not find anything for my cars . My brides car is goin hi tech, ya I know, but it is what she wants, Rodtronics remote with 2 'noids $100 with a $230 sales slip in side box, new billet dome light for $5, 2 pair of wireless door contacts $20. Lucky left all his good stuff at home, selfish bastard
you guys need to look harder. i scored 2 model t gas tanks, a transmission, and a pile of old vinyl, including led zeppelin 1-4 and commander cody hot licks, cold steel & truckers favorites..... david
They did have it in the paper, but they didn't know about Anoka. They want to try another, maybe during the summer. It was a nice place for a swap meet. I managed to sell a couple of things. Mike I still have those headers. MIke
saw the t stuff and vinyl but not in the market for it- common stuff, Flips ww's and split bones front end were the best deals there for oldy stuff, but I left early about 10 am, I'll be there next time and skip Anoka I think this one has more potential with a good location.Besides its put on by guys like us and not a bussiness.
