  1. Noticed that in your first post. In which Minnesota town did you find it? Just so I know exactly how hard to kick myself.

Bring it up to Back to The Fifties this time next year. You and your car will stand out among the 11,000 cars that fill the Minnesota State Fairgrounds.

I see that this got moved to the Intro phorum. You should do a new post about your film project. I'm almost as excited as you to see it, when it's ready to show.

Oh YES I remember that very well, SHE ROCKED! She did a very nice thing for me that day. Tell her I send my regards!

  9. Very cool little roadster you have, reminds me of a lady here in NZ with a forties era flathead powered Deuce roadster. Peanuts her nickname and she built it with her Dad Grease. Its a cool car and like yourself her interperatation of the past is totally on the money. Looking forward to seeing more about your film too.

What we need Faith is that Pin-up shot of Yours posted! Or give Sarah a call @ Traditional Rod & Kulture Illustrated in Bakersfield, Pin-up's are part of it. A good mix of stuff.

Maybe You can do a shoot a The Big Dog Garage, Jay might just go for it! Getting You on Your road to Stardom, and of course more RODS

Yes, Actually Jay Leno and I have crossed path 3 times now. he 'almost' ran me over at Bob's Big Boy the first time (really? Not "really" but I've been teasing him about it ever since)... But that was my fault I was in the middle of the road  taking a photo... Or filming, can't remember which... Last time I saw him on Mulholland as he was leaving the rock store and I was getting there. I seem to always miss him by 5 min or so  ... We did wave at each other, although at the time I had no idea it was Jay Leno. He is a nice guy, friendly, so I am sure one of these days we will actually "talk". I really don't like harrassing celebrities so I am respectful of his privacy / space when he is at BBB. I certainly owuld love to give him a copy of the film when it is done, but that's going to be a while from now (I****ess about a year or so).

I'll be doing a special "legs and roadster" photoshoot at El Mirage in a couple weeks. I'll throw in a few pin up shots in the mix so I'll have them. We also primarily want to take roadster photos and Johnny Callaway / movie promo shots.

So I should have a load of photos for any magazine to utilize.

    Thanks :)

I see you have a Hudson? The very first classic car I ever purchased was a 1938 Hudson Terraplane Business coupe deluxe. Not too many of these around...

I went 50/50 on it with my live - in boyfriend at the time. And then I lost the car in the "divorce settlement" when we broke up. I let him have it cause I'm a nice girl. Now I think I should have kept it  ... So then I turned around and saved money and got the roadster: 100% MINE and this one is not going anywhere :D .

  19. Awe inspiring car. You will probably find that there is several other filmmakers here.

I am working on a hot rod documentary (yes, it is still being done, and I have a ton of footage from the last year and a half) that will be wrapping up shooting at the end of august. I will be in town with my channelled 49' chev in august as part of it!
