I've mostly been quiet since joining a few years ago and figured I should finally say hi. I'm Joe from Albuquerque, NM - which is home to the Unser Racing Museum if any of you visit, you should check it out. I'm an engineer and a math teacher. Right now I don't have a HAMB worthy vehicle but I do own a cl***ic car that I'm restoring. I'm very interested in old school tech, tools, and accessories, which is what brings me to the HAMB often. I'll be researching something which isn't specific to Hot Rods and there will be lots of info and sometimes a NOS part for sale here on the HAMB. For any cl***ic car I tend to not like electrification / modernization. I like to try and keep things in period, which is probably why I'm always running into the HAMB.

    So, howdy everyone.

Cool! I take it your son is in the AF and will be stationed at the base there? If you can, set aside time to visit Abq. The Unser Racing Museum and the National Atomic Museum are definitely worth visiting if you have time. -edit: it's called the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History
