    Looking at the cars at the Texas Thaw was a blast. I even ran into some old friends during the cacklefest. I grew up around hot rods and drag racing . I've had mainly chrysler powered stuff. I have respect for anything that has hard work by the owner and is driven. Like the guy with the flat head powered four speed car at the Thaw that made like 30 passes down the track. That's what its all about. I saw some HAMB plaques on cars checked it out and joined.

    I envy you guys in Texas as there seems to be alot more Rod related events all year round.In the Northeast we seem to have the least.

    Hey Buford, Thanks. btw I drove 4.5 hours south, out of the snow of kansas to go to the Thaw. There does seem to be more events down south.
