Hey there, I'm Mackenzie...no ****...that's my first name. Been readin the HAMB for years, but never really needed to signup to figure what was going on. Thanks so much for all the tips over the years. Now that I got a somewhat respectable project, I figured I'd signup and introduce myself. Just got our first house last year, in Webster, FL. An hour south of Ocala, north of Tampa and west of Orlando each. Great Swaps every first Sunday! We've got a pretty poor excuse for a garage...as in it'll need more carpet on the dirt, a good long extension cord from the house and we'll have to shore up the termite damage soon. But it was enough of a garage to warrant pickin up a 52 Dodge 1/2 Ton. It's all stock, but we'll see what we can do to it once we get it runnin. It won't be ready in time for Billetproof. My wife, Betzy, runs American Greaser Supply and I do website work like the Greaserama site and others when I get the time. I hate writing stuff about myself. Trust me, it won't happen again.
Great state. I know you have got to like not paying taxes on groceries. I lived in Pensacola for a number of years and we really loved it. Welcome to the HAMB. Thanks, BOBBY FORD
I live two blocks off 471...that's great to know there're others around here 56. You goin to Billetproof? And Mr. Ford...it is a pretty cool state, aint it? I hate the cities, but we finally found a place that feels like home out in the sticks. And even though we pay tax on groceries...no state income tax is pretty darn swell. Great to meet you fellas, so to speak.
I guess not on food, but everything else for sure. got my garage all cleaned up and got the truck backed in there. got in there and took a good look and I'm workin with the original 217 or 218 (not sure?) Flathead 6 and 3 on the tree and they all look to be in good shape. I figure I'll set it up stock to get it goin quicker. Hell, for that small a motor, it could be a daily driver.
