    Howdy,
I've been a fan of traditional rods and customs for quite a few years now. I've visited this site on many occasions but, never joined since I don't have a ride. Well, I came to conclusion this year having a rod is a lot like having kids. It's something you're never really prepared to do you just do it. So with that being said, I've made the commitment to pick something up this summer. The best way to describe my personality is two parts hick, one part greaser. Because of this I wanted to pick something up that fit both parts of my personality. Right now I have my sights set on 1953 Willys Pickup. I know it's not your quintessential hot rod material but, it's something I like and can afford. The drive train will remain stock Willys for now but I am interested in possibly doing a flat head engine swap. If anyone has dropped a flat head into a Willys, I would love to pick your brain. Thanks! Eric the Badger
