Hi everbody, I'm new to the forum and am looking around for folks in and around the Kansas City area that know the Old Car scene. I moved here from Nevada six years ago and haven't had the time to get involved too much with the car scene. I did however take on a project 78 Corvette that needed a lot of help and have gotten as far as I can get it and need to find the locals that know wiring and engine tune stuff or just some mechanics that know what the H.E. double hockey sticks they're doing when it come to "Old School" vintage iron. So if ya know somebody, drop me a line.
Check out greaserama.com it's a show los Punk Rods throw in Merriam (just up I-35 from you) every year on Labor Day weekend. Bad*** show, but not sure the vette could hang as they're all pre-65...but worth checking out. Maybe meet up with them fellas at their get-togethers and such. Not sure how many of em are HAMB'ers though.
