Just wanted to drop a line and say "Hey!" to everybody. Been a motor-head most of my natural life with my main faves being traditional Kustoms including the forever-popular Mercs and shoebox Fords, both of which I'm bleesed to possess, the '49 Merc being a keeper and the '51 shoebox being a flipper. It's been a few years since I was able to submerse myself into an automotive project in my own shop, but the time has come and I've already started rewiring the Ford with a new Haywire 12v harness since she didn't have a single solitary working light bulb (or horn). Once that's done the next thing will be a set of headers and dual exhaust before turning my attention to the body/paint work. She runs like a watch, drives like a dream, and I've already put the lowered stance on her (3" front/4" rear). The Merc will be receiving a SBC/700R4 along with a12v rewire as well so I can drive her regularly... Stay tuned as I'm sure I'll be seeking guidance from the best and brightest here, as I know there's a ton! Look forward to making y'all's acquaintance! -JayBird
