Have lurked here several times... thought might as well register. Starting a new project that this forum should be very helpful for. My Dad p***ed away a couple years ago and left me his 1950 (prob left over '49) Willys Overland station wagon. 2WD, converted to a small block/powerglide by him in 1957. Has sat for 35 years... last registered in 1975. Floors are rusted out, rear fenders rusted out (very typical for these vehicles) but otherwise pretty complete except for a few trim items. I bought a 1996 Buick Roadmaster SW and pirated the LT1/4L60 out of it. Ordered new floor pans and fender patch panels last week. Thinking about a mid 90's S10 reg cab frame/suspension, Ron Francis wiring kit, Vintage Air AC/heat unit, recovered Porsche 911 seats, nice stereo, etc, etc. Any ideas and your future support greatly appreciated!
Howdy from Aggieland! I would just keep the stock frame and such. no reason to change over to an s-10 (not too hamb friendly either) keep us posted on the progress. got any photos of the Willys?
