Since I've already got my foot stuck in my mouth on this site, I think I should try and save some face. For starters, I'm in the Navy, have been for over 5 years, stationed here in Pensacola for the time being. I'm a 4x4 guy - always have been since I was a kid. I'm a very strict (sometimes maybe too much, but I'm always happy) brand-loyalist - Chevy/GMC true! But, that just means I won't own anything but a GM. I'm always interested in learning more about other manufacturers and their models. When a buddy of mine suggested I offer up the '54 210 Deluxe over here on this 'board, I thought that this would be a good opportunity to start learning about another era of automobiles, and another arena of automotive interest. I'm very familiar with 'coiled, 'linked and flexy suspensions, extremely low gearing, ground clearance, and finese driving that encomp***es off roading, so I'm thinking, 'How much different can it be?' I'll probably end up eatin' those words, but I think it'll be interesting to find out.
Oooh....you're oh so close to Gulf Shores, AL. I love that place.......*sigh* Welcome to the HAMB. Kris
