Figured I might as well join up. Got a 77 Dodge D100 stepside, 400/727 combo. Has a lot of potential, gonna build myself a 426 or 451, depending on how much money I can put towards it. Using it as a DD right now. Factory air helps a lot in this TX heat, but I need to tweak the levels in it a little. Previous owner had it converted to 134a, but it doesn't look like the drier or expansion valve got swapped out when he did it.

Looking forward to working on it. It is my first carb'd vehicle. Decided I was done with FI motors and PITA wiring/tuning. Besides - there are very few cars these days that I would buy new anyway. Automotive design has certainly suffered over the last 20 years.

I need to get some pics up, haven't gotten around to it. Been too busy correcting minor problems here and there to worry about pics.

Gonna cut my teeth on this one so I can get ready for my next project - 1939 Cadillac limo or full size 4-door (not a La Salle). Gonna be a while till I am ready to tackle such a project, or have the room/money to even acquire the car, but it will happen at some point.
