heres a few shots of my 63' galaxie when i got it how she sits now, i primed the roof and put some nice wheels and tires on it and my goal, should be done in few months give or take, i have most of the paint and interior done .....lots and lots of flake
Your '65 brings back memories. My college graduation gift to myself in '66 was 2+2 or Fastback, as they were called both, with Sauturne Gold pt. GT Exhaust, 4-spd, Pony Interior. Couldn't afford the P. ST. 'cause I was already up to $2,650 on the list price. I put 24K miles on it in 12 mo. and traded it for a loaded '67 Fairliane 500 XL, before going to a '68 green GOAT with 4spd, positrac 400, It took me 24hrs, to put Cherry Bombs, on it. List Price was $4,350, a bunch in those days. Especially on a teacher/coach contract of $3,650 a year, including my $500 bonus for coaching, ha.
