Hello hot rodders. I have never had a hot rod in my life. Well, what am I doing here?Growing up, I used too love going to "old timey" drag racing. By old timey, I mean where they brought the cars in with a tow bar or maybe a trailer. I wanted one so bad I could spit. I suffered from an illness called bad broke. As I aged, I didn't think much about it until recently. My wife of 43 years and I went to the pigeon forge rod run, and low and behold,, it rekinddeled the desire again. After I got home, I found two old chevys for sale from the same man. I now own a 49 and a 50 chevrolet deluxMy plan is for the 50 to be an organ doner. amd getting parts for the 49. Who knows, I may even learn something from the forums. Anyway, I am 66 years old, and looking forward to schooling from the younger guys. Thanks again and I hope I won't bore you too much.
