Had my 72 Caddy Eldorado for 40 years, now sold it. Got instead now a 77 Nova. The other car was just costing too much in gas. Why, just starting the 8.2L engine cost me $10! This Nova has a small block 8 cylinder, so its peppy enough and economical enough. Just got to do a little more learning for its upkeep. For many years had a garage to call my own. Now I got to do all my work on the street. That means some jobs I won't dare do because if I get stuck, I can't honor the alternate-side-of-the-street parking rules in Brooklyn, for which you can get a hefty ticket. In a garage, if I'm stuck, why, I'll just pull out a cold beer. Cheers to you jalopey folks!
Roughie...you know the HAMB is for pre-65 vehicles right? Although the cl***ic, antique and vintage car hobby crosses many years the HAMB specifically focus on the pre-65 traditional hotrods and customs.
