hub cap ID needed

    Well, it is for an Impala. My initial thought was 61, but it also seems there was something similar to this back to 58. I know that doesn't help much,lol

    Never heard "poverty cap" until the Internet.

    Also used on 1959 corvettes, they usually bring pretty good money.

    got a pm....was informed that they are also 60/62 corvette big brake caps.....not a chevy man so I am in the dark in regards to the big brake option..

  9. Corvette had a big brake option and had wide wheels that were used on the high performance models. So the small caps are now desired over the full hubcap because it stood for high performance. As far as I know they have the same design as the full size car counterparts although the design did very from year to year as far as the outer rib being added.
