i am looking to make a semi custom hub cap out of a 63 mercury wheel cover. i need to cut a 2" dia. hole in the center to make it happen. attached is an example of the cover. any ideas on what to use or how to make it happen?
You can use a 2" knock out punch. You drill a hole in the center and they bolt together and as you tighten it up it cuts a hole....HF has cheap ones or any sheet metal supply store has them....from 1/2" to 3" you can get.Below is a link for greenlee one.Like i said Harbor Freight has a cheaper one...
