Hubcap identity.what are these?

    Not being a real hubcap expert I turn to the all knowing Hamb.

    Any ideas?

    hubcaps thats my expert opinion although i could be wrong they may be real classy bird feeders.............Mad Marq p.s sorry mate i just couldnt resist

    If that crest is ship they're probably Plymouth.

    The three with the ribs look A LOT like the '77-79 Hubcaps that came stock on LTD II's and plain jane '77-79 Cougars. Looks like the centers were popped out, and replaced...the red paint would have been added... Hard to tell from your picture...see mine:

    What was it back then with car manufacturers and lions or tigers or whatever and thier crests? 50-60's DeSoto looks a lot like a '70's Ford. Hmmmm....Was Ford running low on ideas? I thought Ford "had a better Idea" in the '70's... [​IMG]

    Well I'll be damned. I clicked the thread, then thought "ehh, but I could only identify the hubcaps from like 3 different cars anyway, ohwell".

    Talk about a coincidence, not only do I know exactly what those are from, but I just bid on a set on eBay RIGHT before I went over to the HAMB!

    If someone outbids me, I'll buy 'em from you [​IMG] Except the smooth one...it's definitely a New Yorker crest, but maybe it's from a '54 or '56.
