    I have a ‘57 Studebaker pickup with the original stock 15” rims as far as I can tell. I bought new hubcaps that I believe were standard for that year. Also new clips. As hard as I try I cannot get the hubcaps to go over the clips. I paid a fair amount of money for the new hubcaps and I sure don’t want to dent them. Anybody have any magic tricks that you could share on getting those things installed?

    Hi. Did not see later post on other forum so answering here. You did not sate where you got the new hub caps but nearly if not ALL aftermarket caps fit ONLY aftermarket wheels. Good luck, Jimmie
