Yesterday i had been driving around my shop and seen a couple of old cars out in a field. so today i walked out with a friend and checked them out. All the cars were junk but on this late 40s chrysler i had noticed these hubcaps. Anyone know what they are??

Didn't Jag start out with a "SS" 100, or something. I know they dropped the model name after the war.

Cheap early reproductions. 50s-60s? They wanted it to look like VW at first glance but not an exact copy to keep the factory off their ***. They made the same type of close but not exact repro's for Chevy and Ford. We used to see them often in the early 70s but not as much anymore. We always laughed at them but I'd like a set of the 48 Ford type that have boxes instead of the letters FORD. They were good with designs that fooled the eye at first glance.
