Can't remember his name. Been about 10 years. Run a want ad on the HAMB. I think he is in C,olorado.

 

Hi. I’m new here and I was thinking of buying a Hudson Hornet.
I just read they have weak input shafts on their manual transmissions.
Has anyone ever come up with a fix?

 

Ironically I have a 308 engine - in a tractor. Made by Ernest Gottschalk in Edger Wisconsin. Has dual carb intake. Engine is stuck. Any help with where to by just normal stock parts not high performance. Has aluminum head. Likely the transmission is also from the same car and may also need work.

Q: why does the bellhousing have (3) openings?
